Creating Playlists on ZEN Vision:M

    • You can add an entire music category such as Albums, Artists, or Genres to a playlist, or add individual tracks.

Creating a playlist on the player

  1. Turn on your player. Press and hold the Menu/Back button .
  2. The main menu appears. Open Music Library.
  3. Add new tracks to the Selected Music (Now Playing) list that you want to include in the new Playlist. You can add an entire music category such as Albums, Artists, or Genres to a playlist, or add individual tracks.
  4. Select a track or music category that you want to include, and press the Options button. , and select Add to Selected.
  5. Once you have finished adding the tracks, go to the Main menu, and select the Now Playing option.
  6. The Now Playing screen appears. Press the Options button and select Save as Playlist from the menu.
  7. Create a name for your playlist by using the navigation controls and select .

This will save the songs in the Now Playing queue into a playlist. To view or play the new playlist, open Music Library, and select Playlist.

Note: If you have used your player previously, you may need to clear the Now Playing queue. To do so, open Music Library, and select Now Playing. Press the Options button. . Select Remove, and then select Remove All.

Creating a playlist on a PC

  1. Connect your player to your PC and open Creative MediaSource.
  2. You should be in Organizer view. If the Creative MediaSource is in Player view instead of full or Organizer view. Click on the arrow at the bottom left corner to switch it to Organizer view

  3. In the top toolbar, click on Playlist and select New Playlist.
  4. Type a name for your new playlist and press OK.
  5. To add songs or tracks to the new playlist, double-click on the PC Music Library button under the Sources window. Select the tracks that you want to add, right-click on them and select Add to Playlist. Select the new playlist name that you created above.
  6. In the content window (where the track information is displayed), select the tracks to transfer. To select multiple tracks, hold down the CTRL key and click on each track you want to transfer.
  7. Click on the View button at the menu bar, and then check Show Right Panel if it is not already selected.
  8. In the Right Panel, select your player as the destination.
  9. Double click on the Playlists under PC Music Library to expand it. Select the playlists that you want to transfer, and click on the transfer button.
